Adam & Morgan

One in every five relationships start online.  Adam and Morgan are one of those silly statistics, but not the creepy kind.

They met on Facebook through their graduate school’s group “VCU Brandcenter Class 2011.” Since Adam is a Richmond native, he was offering up advice to incoming students about where to live in the area.  Morgan just happened to post about living in the Fan, and Adam cleverly offered to share his secret Richmond knowledge with her.

For the next three months, they talked every day – only online.

They met “for real” for the first time in Richmond, when Morgan popped in for some apartment hunting. They only spent a few hours together, but that’s all it took.

They spent the next year and a half irritating the snot out of friends and professors alike with their “couple” stuff.  They topped it off by adopting a bunny, Bella, in May.

In March of 2011, they ventured over to California to start the job hunting process.  Adam – known far and wide for his efficiency – decided to knock out two birds with one stone.  He proposed at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, overlooking their future home.

Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of new jobs, moving across the country and planning the Big Day.  They live in Santa Monica, California with their bunny and a plethora of Brandcenter kids.
